Ingredients:
- 1 cup packed, light brown sugar
- 4 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/2 to 1 tsp sea salt (to taste)
- 1/4 cup whipping cream (35%)
- 1/4 cup milk (2%)
- 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
Directions:
- Add all ingredients in a non-stick saucepan.
- Whisk constantly over low to med-low heat for approximately 6 to 9 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
- Remove from heat and let cool.
- Sauce can be stored at room temperature for up to 3 days or in refrigerator for 3 weeks.
- When serving from fridge, either let come to room temperature and stir or heat for a few seconds in the microwave, stir and repeat if necessary.
