Banana Loaf
Use up those overripe bananas. Try out this moist and delicious, easy to make, banana loaf recipe.
Ingredients
- 3 lg bananas , well mashed
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs , beaten
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- To the mashed bananas, add the following ingredients one at a time, mixing well with each ingredient added: sugar, eggs, oil.
- Combine the two kinds of flour, the baking soda and the salt and then add to the banana mixture. Stir until combined.
- Pour into well greased 5×9 loaf pan and bake for 55 to 60 minutes. Top should be lightly browned and spring back to the touch.
- Remove from oven and let cool in pan on wire cooling rack for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, remove loaf from pan and set on wire cooling rack until completely cooled.
