Cream Cheese Spreadable Frosting
A soft, spreadable cream cheese frosting that is great on banana squares, carrot cake and lemon cake.
Ingredients
- 1 pkg reduced fat cream cheese (8 oz.) , softened
- ⅓ cup unsalted butter , softened
- 2 cups powdered icing sugar (confectioner's sugar)
- 1 - 2 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Beat the cream cheese and butter until fluffy with mixer.
- Add sugar and vanilla and beat until smooth and thick.
- Spread over top of cake and put in fridge until chilled.
- Cut into squares and store in fridge in air tight container.
